There are a few aspects I consider such as the sensorial experience and finishing. Right now, probably a few sunscreens come to your mind as you are reading this because you surely have your own preference.

MARY & MAY CICA Soothing Sun Cream

I would say that the texture of the MARY & MAY CICA Soothing Sun Cream is more to watery cream. It feels light, and glides easily on my skin as I apply it. It leaves my skin dewy for the first few hours, and later on, it feels greasy. It is not something I would like to use if I have to stay outdoors for a long time. Therefore, I like to apply it on my arms and legs instead. While it claims to have seven key ingredients of Centella Asiatica, it appears to be too mild on my skin and does not help to soothe the inflammation I have. On top of that, I feel that the floral scent is quite strong. If you are looking for a decent sunscreen with floral scent, you can totally get this.

Jumiso Waterfull Hyaluronic Acid sunscreen

On the other hand, the Jumiso Waterfull Hyaluronic Acid sunscreen stays true to its claims and provides the hydration I want on my face. However, I must remind you that it may give that whitecast effect if you have darker complexion. I personally have 3 more boxes of this on my skincare shelf because y'know..just in case I finish it too fast, and I have backups on standby mode.

TOCOBO Bio Watery Sun Cream

This TOCOBO Bio Watery Sun Cream is one of my few favourites in the first half of 2022. Not only because of the slimmer bottle, but also due to the lovely consistency and texture. For a sun "cream", it is lightweight and watery, so the application is really easy and it does not leave any streak on the skin. I also love the peony scent in this sunscreen, but I think it is a little strong. As for the performance, it also leaves dewy finishing at first, and eventually it turns greasy on my face after a few hours. It still makes a good sunscreen despite the finishing and effect.

MISSHA All Around Safe Block Soft Finish Sun Milk

I save the best for the last! This MISSHA All Around Safe Block Soft Finish Sun Milk has a soft and velvety finishing, and I have received compliments that my skin looks powdery and silky. It really hits different when it is other people who can notice and tell the difference instead of just us praising ourselves. I only like the finishing on my face and neck because this sun milk can feel drying on parts such as my arms and legs, as they are not as active producing sebum like my face.
