They have two lines for hair care which are Daily Line and Magic Nine. Daily Line are vegan certified and EWG certified (except for fragrance and hair loss functionality) while Magic Nine was created to provide professional, salon-grade hair care at home.

1. Magic Nine Perlite Scalp Scrub Shampoo

What it is:

This shampoo helps to get rid of dead skin cells and other impurities, leaving a clean and healthy scalp!

Key Ingredients:

Perlite (110,000ppm) from the Mediterranean Sea, Centella Asiatica Extract, Asicantic Knotweed Root, Skullcap, Green Tea, Licorice Root, Matricaria, Rosemary Leaf

How to Use:

1. Wet hair to reveal scalp and massage with fingers to gently exfoliate

2. After rinsing, follow up with treatment or hair conditioner

MY EXPERIENCE

I use it 2-3 times weekly as it means to exfoliate the scalp. After I wet my hair, I put an amount and focus on massaging my scalp. It won’t foam as much as typical shampoo but I found out if you added more water gradually along with the massaging action, it can be foamy! The cooling effect on my scalp and the peppermint scent is so refreshing! It’s like I’m having a hair pampering session but in my own bathroom

2. Magic Nine Rich Hair Volume Balm

What it is:

It’s an intensive care hair balm that you can use easily at home. The peptide complex and glutathione inside will supply nourishment into your hair. Use it before drying/straightening to protect hair from the heat.

Key Ingredients:

CN-peptide Complex, Copper Tripeptide-1 - increase elasticity and antioxidant effect

Bio CTP 500H - help to produce collagen to make hair stronger and healthier

How to Use:

After towel dry, gently massage the hair and then use hair dryer

MY EXPERIENCE

It has this gel gloopy texture and you need to find the perfect amount for your hair length. If you put too much, it will weigh down your hair, but with the right amount followed with blow drying, then it will give your hair the volume that you never had. The scent is out of this world. It’s strong but in a very good way! and it lingers for a while! This balm used together with the shampoo really help to nourish my damaged hair back to healthy hair.

But.. be careful not to use it too much since it will clump your hair and it’s gonna put some ‘weight’ on your hair. I made a mistake the first time I tried since I didn’t know the perfect amount for my hair. I think I squeezed 5-6 times, oops.

3. Daily Intense Nourishing Hair Essence

What it is:

It’s an intensive care hair balm that you can use easily at home. The peptide complex and glutathione inside will supply nourishment into your hair. Use it before drying/ straightening to protect hair from the heat.

Key Ingredients:

Contains 5 natural derived oils formulated especially for hair concerns - Argan Kernel Oil, Camelia Seed Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil

How to Use:

Pump 1-3 times depending on hair type and length. Apply thoroughly on dried hair and leave it on.

 

MY EXPERIENCE

This is the easiest to apply among the three products. You just need to pump and massage it evenly on your hair as a leave on product. Applying this after using hair dryer, it keeps all the hair frizz in check, leaves my hair shiny and more lively.

OVERALL REVIEW

I’m in love with this haircare routine! My favorites are the shampoo and the balm. I can say you need to get both if you want to try this routine since both products serve different purposes. All three products definitely are working together to achieve my AFTER hair look.
