♥ Review: Benton Fermentation Eye Cream ♥
The skin around our eyes is up 10 times thinner and more prone to dryness. So it should come as no surprise that it’s the first place to show signs of aging or poor health.
Plus, our eyes and the skin surrounding it is constantly in motion – we smile, we laugh, we squint and we cry (please don’t). This all leads to... you got it – wrinkling!
So today! We’ll be talking skincare, in particular eye creams – my current obsession ♬
Benton’s Fermentation Eye Cream is currently my go to product. Let me tell you why! ♥
1. It contains the king of anti-aging – fermented ingredients! This process creates anti-oxidants which help prevent premature wrinkling. It also breaks down particles so they get absorbed quicker and more easily.
2. Includes galactomyces ferment filtrate (the same magical ingredient found in SK-II) which is renowned for its ability to decrease wrinkles, lighten hyper-pigmentation and increase the skin’s radiance.
3. Comprises of ceramide and SH-Oligopeptide-1 which are known for their healing properties and ability to renew skin.
4. Uses natural ingredients, is free of artificial fragrances and colorants which make it perfect for those with sensitive skin.
I could go on and on. But one of the major deciding factors for me was that the eye cream was by Benton – a brand renowned for its use of clean, natural ingredients, ECOCERT / FDA certified products and cruelty free mission.
The simple black and white design makes the product look chic, trendy and modern. But there is a downside in that the monochrome plastic tube picks up finger prints easily making it look messy and need of a good clean.
Unlike other eye creams out there, Benton’s product has a thicker consistency. In fact, it’s almost like a balm that has to be worked into your skin.
I personally love this as it makes the eye cream feel a lot more hydrating. It also feels like it’s forming a protective barrier around my sensitive skin.
Because the consistency is a lot thicker, it’s difficult to “tap” the product into your skin. You’ll need to take a good couple of minutes gently working at it until it’s fully absorbed.
But, the beauty of this product is that you get a lot for your money! So what I like to do is use it everywhere when my skin feels like it needs a little pick-me-up. Pamper yourself!
It’s the start of a new year which means something amazing is waiting for you around the corner!
But it also means we’ll all be adding a year to our age! It’s time we all protect our skin from those dreaded wrinkles and I recommend you start with Benton’s Fermentation Eye Cream!
