Review: All About D'Alba & Skin Gourmet (Part 2)

I used to have great skin when I was younger. But the older I get, coupled with everyday stressors, has made my skin break out. But I'm sure I'm not the only one who suffers from this? I've heard poor diets, irregular sleeping patterns, bad skincare and makeup products are some of the causes of adult acne. Which is the worst! Because not only do we have to worry about those unsightly things but we also have to be careful of scarring, hyper-pigmentation and pore issues that come along with it. And to add insult to injury, there's the issue with anti-aging (remember we need to start doing this before the age of 24).

So today, I wanted to introduce you to a couple of products that will help address all the problems I've listed above.

I know there are a lot of brands that target adult acne but I wanted to go with D'Alba as it's renowned as a high end brand that can be found in department stores. I felt it was more trustworthy than others. Plus it's known to be gentle, prevents break outs and helps with anti-aging.

Peptide No Sebum Mild Gel Cleanser

Volume: 300ml

Price: USD 32.10

A lot of people worry that anti-aging products can cause excess sebum production which can cause adult acne. But you don't need to fret with D'Alba as this particular line is geared towards acne care and premature wrinkling.

At first I was a little surprised as the cleanser didn't seem to be creating a thick lather but once I worked in more water, there wasn't a problem. The bubbles felt incredibly gentle and seemed to wash away any excess sebum and waste products from deep within. This must be the effect of the BHA. #squeaky_clean_pores

Peptide No Sebum Balancing Toner 150ml

Volume: 150ml

Price: USD 32.10

So now that we're done with cleansing, it's time to get rid of any remaining dead skin cells and sebum (that is, anything that causes acne). It's time for toner! The D'Alba Peptide No Sebum Balancing Toner contains BHA, Peptides, White Truffles and Pearl Extracts to clear you skin leaving it rejuvenated, bright and translucent.

I prefer to use a cotton pad to apply my toner as it helps clear away any remaining waste products.

Look at that! Is it me or does my skin look clearer already?

Peptide No Sebum Repair Cream

Volume: 50ml

Price: USD 42.80

The final step is moisturizing. This cream contains centella asiatica, green tea extract and calamine powder, all ingredients that are great for acne and are rich in anti-oxidants.

This cream feels as though it coats your skin helping to trap in all the moisture and keep your skin hydrated.

I recommend D'Alba for anyone who suffers from acne or wants a stellar anti-aging product! ♥
