This sunscreen felt nice going on and felt soft and smooth. There was no shine. The finish was relatively matt. I did find it a little heavy in that I felt a coating on my skin that did not absorb as well as other sunscreens. It felt a bit heavy and chalky for the first hour, but them I did not notice it at all. I felt it was just on the edge of pilling. I like it better than mineral sunscreens, but not better than sunscreens with similar filters.
