I gifted this to my sister who has acne she used this while she had active breakouts and she said it stung a bit upon initial application. She also hasn't used a toner in a really long time.

I love applying this toner after I wash my face. My skin is very sensitive and acne prone but I did not break out when I started using this product. But it has only been a few days so this review is only based on my first impression. This toner is very light and refreshing. Will keep using and see what happens.
