Looks a bit like a glossy lip balms. It has made my lips really soft and healthy looking. What it has done is improve the texture of my lips. It's smoothed them out to where they aren't as many creases, they're smoother, and they do look younger looking. I use it at nighttime as I'm not frequently wetting my lips like I am during the day. It can also be used day or night so that's really up to you.
