It has a faint floral scent, but it doesn't linger. The first spray comes out a little harsher, but then the mist becomes finer. This is not the finest mist for a setting spray though, so don't expect ultra-fine mist. With that said, it is still a good setting spray, or primer spray if you choose to use it before foundation too.
*Edit. It's still not the finest mist, but it's not harsh either and works great as a setting spray.
