This is a medium to heavy moisturizer that has paste texture. Definitely a great nighttime cream but it depends how much you use. I would use more in areas that dry and a lot less in my oily areas. This spreads pretty well but not the easiest like a gel. I did see more healing and soothing results the more i used this, probably more the ampoule of the regular line of this same company.
