No white cast. Not matte but not oily. Ive not experienced pilling yet. I wouldn't trust for really harsh sun and prolonged exposure but it's an elegant spf for every day.

Even though is water resistant is very ligntweight, i love the dewy finish. One of my favoritas with the skin1004 spf
