I recently finished a tube of Dr. Althea's 147 Barrier Cream, and while it worked well for certain skin types, it wasn't the best match for my oily skin. The cream is rich and hydrating, which makes it ideal for dry or sensitive skin, especially during the colder months. It created a protective barrier on my skin, helping to lock in moisture and keep my skin feeling soft and nourished. However, on my oily skin, it felt too heavy and left me looking shiny, especially in the T-zone. After finishing the entire tube last year, I decided I won't be repurchasing it for my skin type. Please excuse the photo—I've already thrown away the empty tube, but I wanted to share my experience. If you have dry or dehydrated skin, this might be a great option for you, but for oily skin, it may not be ideal. Overall, it's a good V uct, just not the right fit for my needs.

Finished 2 tubes and will definitely repurchase. I have oily skin and it did not broke me out. Not too heavy on my skin.

This barrier cream is rich and moisturizing, perfect for repairing dry or sensitive skin. It feels very nourishing without being too heavy. A must-have for strengthening the skin barrier.
