This feels cool when applied to the skin. Its really very soothing. The scent is a mixture of citrus and herbal. There was some tingling when i initially applied it but disappeared in a few seconds. The skin feels refreshed after washing of the product. Theres a mini spatula that comes with it but i use a bigger spatula which came with another product i bought and use that to apply and spread the product onto my face. Works great.
