The patch start out thick at first and then gradually becomes thinner. It must be because the active ingredients are gradually absorbed. I usually use it in the evening, but I think it will be cooler and better if I put it in the refrigerator when my eyes are puffy in the morning. I find it useful to use for de-puffing eyes.
