Recently, I used a Vitamin C serum that ended up irritating my face and neck. So I used this gel cream, along with other "calming/soothing" products to help heal my allergic reaction. Since I was using multiple products, it's tough to assess the effectiveness of this gel cream by itself. However when I applied this gel moisturizer, it had a slight cooling feeling. I plan to continue using it even after my irritation (hopefully) goes away.

I decided to try this moisturizer because it was advertised as being highly hydrating. However, it didn’t feel that way for me—perhaps because it’s designed for combination/oily skin, which doesn’t match my skin type. That said, I appreciated that it didn’t cause any irritation, which is always a plus. I also used it during a skin purge, and it did a great job of calming my skin during that time.
