The texture of this cleansing balm is unique. It's in the form of a balm, when applied to the face it immediately melts like butter, after rinsing with water the skin feels smooth. There is a fleeting fresh aroma like mint but not overpowering.

Heimish All Clean Balm - this cleansing balm & makeup remover removes makeup effortlessly. It goes on like a balm, melts to an oil & then turns to milky fluid. Use spatula to scoop a small amount of balm & massage on to dry skin, then add splash of water & cleanser turns milky, then rinse with warm water. It doesn't sting my eyes or dry out my skin. Doesn't make my oily skin greasy.

I use this oil cleanser in my nightly routine as a double cleanser. It is gentle and cleans deeply without feeling dry, and it also does not have an annoying smell. I recommend it.
