Texture-wise, it's a bit thicker and slightly stickier than the original version. It takes a bit longer to absorb. However, I do appreciate that it doesn't irritate my face just like the original. Since I use multiple "brightening" products, it's difficult to assess the effectiveness of this serum alone. I'm not sure if I'd repurchase this Vitamin C serum again.
