The first time I used the serum, I felt a stinging sensation. My previous experience with vitamin C in the form of raw, undiluted lemon juice had also given me similar stinging sensation. So I decided to ignore it. Rightly so, after a couple of minutes, the stinging faded.
A few days later, I noticed that my skin felt smooth, the pimples had shrunk in size and my face looked just a bit brighter. A week into the serum, I started peeling around my mouth. The rest of my face did not peel or flake visibly. But when I used a cotton pad with Micellar water for toning, the pad would come away brown- that was my dead and darkened skin cells coming off. The larger and the darkest of my dark spots faded away and the wound like scars left by pimples healed faster than ever before. I was so impressed with the performance of this serum that I immediately ordered a second bottle.

This actually brightens up my skin after a while. Just have to be patient for the results but it did start to fade away my scars after 2 weeks of use. I just don't like the scent it leaves afterwards but otherwise I like it.

I used this serum and it's almost finished, and though i like it i don't LOVE it. However, it has 20% L-ascorbic acid, and when i saw it on sale for 7.99$ i bought it as a gift for my sister. I will update shortly with her comments :)
