This cleansing oil is pretty light. I apply about a quarter size amount into my palm, spread it thinly on my face and below my jawline, and just go to work massaging the oil around. It takes off mascara and eyeliner with a little elbow grease but that's how I work all cleansing balms and oils around my eyes. I then add water and emulsify the oil for 30 seconds. After washing it away my skin feels nice and clean, not dry at all.
