I recently purchased a product that I was really excited to try, but unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. As a Muslim, I follow specific dietary and lifestyle restrictions, and I was unaware that this product contained pork-derived ingredients. It wasn’t clearly labeled, and I only found out after doing some additional research post-purchase. I was really upset and disappointed, as I would never have knowingly used something with pork in it.
I truly hope the brand considers offering a version of this product that is free from any pork-derived ingredients so that it can be inclusive for people of all backgrounds and faiths. The product itself seemed promising, and I would love to be able to use it if there were a halal-friendly alternative available in the future. Clearer labeling would also go a long way in helping consumers like me make informed choices.
