0.01% Retinol and 5% niacinamide is a DREAM combo for well-aging beginners. I'm personally a long term retinol and retinoid user but I wish I had this product when I was starting out. The concentration is low enough that your skin can get used to it meanwhile niacinamide brightens hyperpigmentation and strengthens the skin barrier. I love the lightweight feel of this serum too. As a newbie to retinol, this was a great gentle retinol to start with as it has only a 0.1% in it. I apply it at night although you can use during the day (always remember to use sunscreen afterwards if during the day). I haven’t been using long but have seen an improvement in my face texture and was not too harsh for my dry/sensitive skin. No irritation so far.
