At first, when I tested it on my hand and then my face, I found it heavy for my skin but it absorbed nicely after a while. I tried to use it in the morning but with no success. It was oily for some time and in the morning I'm always in the hurry. So I decided to use it in the evening routine on its own.
The directions of use suggested that you can use it with your moisturizer. Instead of this, I mixed it with a hydrating serum with no other actives and voila!!! The perfect formula for the morning routine!!! It absorbs faster and better for me. That is what I recommend if you find it very oily and you don't have the time to wait.
I use it on its own for more troubled areas and not the whole face. I surely love vitamin C
