This serum seems to do a good job of moisturizing the skin. I haven't used it consistently enough to say if it helps with acne scars, but it does contain a lot of brightening ingredients that should help in theory (niacinamide, alpha-arbutin, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid). My skin is very sensitive to new products, but surprisingly this hasn't broken me out despite the fragrance and the fermented ingredients. The only bad thing about this serum is that it leaves a slightly sticky finish.
