I put about a quarter size of this in my hair after washing and towel drying. I have tried it with and without using heat after and it is great either way. With heat styling, it definitely works better, but it still helps to define and hydrate the curl even just air drying after. It also smells very nice and the smell lasts for about a day or 2.
