The lip balm is marketed as a "lip mask" so I applied it at night. However, when I woke up my lips felt mildly moisturized but definitely not enough. The application is cosmetically elegant in the sense that it makes your lips glossy. Other than that, I wouldn't purchase it if you have extremely dry lips.
