Basic is not bad, but this mist is really just that. It's a good base before adding your products. I think this would be great for a hot day too, just to add a bit of moisture to the skin when out.

This mist is mild and calming. It's actually a fine mist. It's easy to overdo it but I say don't be shy. I usually just spritz to my heart's content. I use this all the time. Usually after serum, before moisturizing I will spray this on my face.
