The texture of this cream is probably for people with dryer skin types. It spreads well and absorbs. I wouldn’t say that it has a sticky feeling but leaves a layer on your skin. I enjoy using it and I do find it helping brighten my skin. I wouldn’t mind to repurchase this item again.
