The oil itself is a bit more viscous than some watery cleansing oils. However, it emulsifies and rinses off well. I think this product is unscented. The main reason why I bought this cleansing oil: 1. minimal ingredients (less likely to cause an allergic reaction). My mother has a sensitivity towards certain ingredients, including fragrance.
