Works amazing with retinol overnight, with no irritation in the morning. There is a light fragrance that I wasn’t expecting, but it is very mild and doesn’t linger.

It’s a really nice gel cream texture. A little goes a long way. It’s not irritating and moisturizes nicely in the A.M. I’d say It does help with strengthening your skin barrier it’s nice and soothing. I really like it.

I like how this cream is more soothing than the original (it has the same formula though where it is gel-like and slippery and dries down with a slight film that disappears). I just always have the problem with the tubes of both the original and this one that a ton of product gets squeezed out at once.
