This is such a cute small palette that packs a punch. I'm not into western makeup so I can't comment too much about using this palette in that way but if you love to layer washes of color or prefer more eastern style makeup, this is a great palette. I have medium-light skin and all the colors work well. All the mattes are super smooth. The glitters are the star of this palette. One glitter creates a "wet" lid look, while the other is more chunky. I prefer glitters with no pigment base so these are the perfect toppers for all looks. The packaging is also really nice and is probably great for traveling. I picked up the orange carrot palette and will consider picking up the neutral brown one as well.
