I was expected this to be a more watery cream because of the picture, but it is on the thicker side. The balm gives a really nice glow to the skin and can work alone as a morning moisturizer, or as a primer. It will not fully get absorbed into the skin though, hence the glow, but it doesn't leave the skin feeling oily either.
*It also comes with a scooper that I almost missed.
