This essence is great for hydrating and calming redness. I like the watery texture too. The scent is a bit strong at first, but it fades quickly. It's probably the natural artemisia/mugwort scent. I do have a keen, sensitive nose though. So some people may not be bothered by it.

Like it for when my face feels irritated. I don’t notice the smell and find this to be very light yet moisturizing as a base for my other skincare products. Will want to try this with the serum from this line too.
