I honestly don't reach for this quite as much compared to the black one but that's a personal preference. I really like this for extra soft looks, the kind where you say you're not really wearing makeup but you actually are (LOL). Since this one and the black one both give a super natural finish, I say it really boils down to how subtle you want your look to come off. For sure love using this on my lower lashes.

Easy to use, especially for lower lashes. Because its slim, the application is just nice, can be done bit by bit so it will not look too heavy for light makeup. Really like it so far.

Super skinny wand and it actually catches each lash very nicely. It's not very volumizing nor lengthening so it's best for natural day looks. It holds a curl well, and doesn't smear (I've worked out with it on with no issues).
