The essence is a thick jelly consistency, because it said jelly I thought it might be a hydrogel mask but it is a cotton type sheet mask. The directions say 15-20 minutes but stays wet entire time and longer. Recommend for sensitive skin as it is non irritating.

This mask has a cute packaging but texture a bit weird like jelly. I prefer more watery masks.
