There's no smell, it's watery (not viscous) and does not make my skin red. Leaves a lovely glow on my skin if I do a 2-3 layers of essence over each other. Really appreciate it comes in a glass bottle. Most probiotic essences do though, except for Tatcha! I think this product is giving me little bumps that go away the next day, if I stop using it. I'm still testing it out.

I have very sensitive and irritated skin right now from retinol and this product really helped sooth it and quench the thirst! My skin was been flaking and burning recently and this essence really calmed it down and brightened the complexion.

Ive used missha first essence for so long and found this one on sale for a really good price so I went for it. The texture is thicker than th Missha one which I like better. As for what it does to my skin, I can’t really tell the difference between the twos. Id always go for this for a good sale and for its experience using it.
