This aloe propolis gel claims to soothe irritated skin, fight acne scars, hydrate and brighten. It’s a lightweight gel type formula which is great for oily / combination skin types.

It’s no secret that me + Benton are a match made in heaven. I was initially surprised how big this tube was given the price (I got on sale for $7!), so it’s something that is going to last me a long time. It’s a very lightweight product and it has no scent, which is a big thumbs up from me.

As a morning moisturiser, this works perfectly. It’s so light and works really well under sunscreen. Absorbs fast and doesn’t leave any greasiness. It’s like applying water to your face. I do occasionally use this at night too, but primarily after using actives or exfoliating masks. This gel provides a soothing layer over irritated skin.

Nice cooling effect, dries quickly.
Moisturizing effect is very low. Only good for immediate gratification on burns or heated areas.

This product has a huge cooling effect on the skin, especially if you chuck it in the fridge. I used this product as a cooling mask in the summer to minimise my pores after doing a pore extracting mask, and it completely soothes my whole face.
