I'm not sure why it's called a "cream" when it's definitely a clear gel. Interestingly when you apply this gel, it has a temporary hydrating effect. Most acne treatments leave a matte finish, but this one doesn't. This acne gel does help, but it takes some time. Then again, most acne treatments take time, depending on the severity of your acne.
