Very hydrating but quite thick texture |

Finally caved to the hype and got this when on special. It is VERY hydrating which I love but the texture was weird for me. It’s quite thick/viscous. My preference is a watery type of toner. Dehydrated skin peeps should give it a go.

Given the “activating treatment” name and its awesome ingredients list, I was hoping that this lotion would do a bit more for my skin than it does. It’s nicely hydrating, if a bit sticky and heavier than expected, though I think the many active ingredients might be a bit much for my skin… maybe it’s just that it doesn’t sink in as much as some of my other toners, but I don’t like it for a first post-cleanse layer, which is how I’d planned to use it. It works well and I plan on using the whole bottle up, but I’m still trying to figure out the right place for it in my daily routine. Next time I might look into other products from the brand instead, since I still like their ingredients and their approach to skincare!
