The shade daffodil is a little brighter than I thought it would be based on the product images and the packaging, but it's still a pretty, daily red. The formula is soft, blurring and comfortable. However, this type of velvety formula looks better when the lips are already smooth and hydrated. Personally, I like to apply this product in a thin layer then blend with my finger to create a soft, blurred lip.
