If you put too much of a lotion or milk toner, it will rip the pad. It also rips if you do more than two swipes. I don't think I would repurchase. I do like that they seem good for the environment, but I wish it took longer than 30 seconds for them to break down.

These are different from the typical cotton pads. It is thinner and only has 1 layer. Good for applying toners since it will not absorb too much of the product.
