I personally expected one pad with a smooth side and a rough side, but it's actually three stacks inside the box. Two stacks are a light spongy material that holds product well, and one stack is a rough cotton definitely meant for more abrasive application. The pads are nice, but just unexpected.

I like how there is cotton and sponge available in one package...I’m sure I’ll use the cotton even though I prefer the sponge kind now.

The pressed pads are really great for exfoliating and the other ones are so great. They give back most of the toner I use I didn't realize how much toner I was losing with overly absorbing pads! Highly recommend
