Not sure what happened, but my guess is that because the plastic vinyl that wraps around this 4-in-1 brush set is open on both sides (see photos), one side fell off. So I got only 2 brush heads from the side that didn’t fall off.
It’s a bit bigger than I thought it would be. But still nice quality brush heads…

The hairs don't fall out at all, feels soft, but it is a bit stiff - perfect for eye makeup applications. However the rounded brush used for eyeshadow is a bit too stiff for my liking, will probably use something else for that.
The only problem really is that the brushes hidden in the middle tube are sometimes hard to get out because you end up removing just the cap instead. But very cute, I love it lots and don't regret buying - good to have as 4 brushes in 1 rather than 4 separate brushes! Nice quality for price.
