I don't know how effective it was (I still prefer camellia treatments for hair - it's very effective), all I noticed with this product was the scent. It was a strong floral scent that was overwhelming and stayed in my hair until I washed it again. 

The scent is pretty light and it does its job well. Good for just treating your hair for a "treat yourself well" day.
