The cream does have a strong herbal scent and it takes some time for it to fade. I like the consistency of the cream and it’s perfect for my oily skin as it absorbs well and doesn’t leave a thick or heavy feeling. It does however leave a slight white cast over my face and I do need to rub it in a little for this to settle. I’ve been using this under my foundation and find it to be a great primer. As it is water resistant it helps keep my makeup in place. I don’t think I would wear it by itself just because I feel it leaves that white cast on my skin but under make and as a primer I find this to do a pretty good job. I agree with the claim that it is long lasting and prevents a greasy face. I haven’t really noticed any Anti-aging claims and as for the brightening or as they have labeled it ‘whitening’ effect I haven’t seen much of a difference.
