Instant temporary skin whitening effect. As the ingredients include niacinamide, it can help whiten skin gradually over time, but there will be no lasting effect on normal irregular use. I find it to be a good product (for what I use it for at least). I'm already quite pale and more on the dry side, the pack does not dry my skin or break me out. Have been using it on my face and neck during this cold winter season under my makeup to even out and tone up my skin. Covers some redness, dark spots and brightens weary undereyes. When going heavy on the pack I often find there's no need for a concealer (depending on skin condition and what you put on top) anymore after. Lasts on my skin I believe good 5 or 6 hours if not touched up. The finish is a lot like putting on sunscreen, ghostly shiny and white, can be a bit unattractive on it's own if you don't rinse it off as you are expected to. The pack can cling on dry patches or dead skin making it very obvious, so I recommend exfoliating well before putting the product on. Rub it on (clean skin) and pat gently till the product sinks in, then you can rinse it off leaving just a thin layer, or you could actually leave it on as it is. Follow with a good sun screen to protect your skin from discoloration, as whitening products have that downside. The scent of the pack is strong and clean, quite florally and feminine. Although it is gentler than many heavy duty skin whiteners, the heavy fragrance can cause irritation on your skin and eyes, please be careful and sample it before use. Yes, I will buy it again to give my skin non-cakey paleness.
