Used this product primarily as a shaving cream, and it worked well! You need water to lather it, and the shave is smooth. I couldn't tell if it was the seasons, or if my face got used to the product, but using the product initially caused little to no dryness and after 3-4 months of using the product my face was prone to dryness. I'm sure it's because it doubles as a cleansing foam, and I typically shave after I've cleansed in the shower.
