With no expectations, I decided to try this primer out since I no longer had a primer. I did some research prior and read the similarities this had to the Smashbox photo finish primer and after trying this out, so far so good - it really helps my makeup apply smoothly :)

The texture is very similar to the smashbox photofinish primer, which I wasn't expecting as they describe it as having violet pigments. There is no violet in here but it is a clear primer, its extremely smooth and mattifies my oily skin instantly. This gives my skin a very very smooth texture and makes my foundation go on beautifully and keeps it in place and I don't get oily with this primer. The ingredients are also more kind to my skin so I don't break out when I use this, unlike the smashbox primer which breaks me out. Definitely worth it for a smoothing mattifying primer!
