No unpleasant smell, no strange texture of a snail product (even though it is one), and a little goes a long way. Also, I have sensitive acne-prone skin, but it doesn't break me out nor does it irritate my eyes, so I definitely recommend this eye cream to everyone (unless you are allergic to dust mites - I heard they are somewhat correlated with snail mucin).
