The product is lightweight, not heavy as I expected – which is great for summer and hot/humid weather. It also has a thin consistency, that easily absorbs into the skin in a few minutes. Though the product does fulfill its claims on being lightweight, i felt it wasn’t really my preference for a morning moisturizer. After applying it was a little greasy to touch, and I could definitely tell there was something sitting on my face unlike other moisturizers that just kinds absorb and disappear after a few minutes.

It is a lightweight choice for acne-prone skin. I would love to see more in this range from Benton - a Cacao essence, and a serum, and maybe a cleanser. My only gripe is, this doesn't actually smell of cocoa. That would have been the icing on the cake.

I bought this as a gift for my friend and they all said It does a nice job of moisturizing and hydrating their skin. The texture and consistency is just right and not too thick when applying it on their face. They definitely recommended to those with sensitive skin.

The consistency was more liquid than I expected (more like a lotion). It was still hydrating for my skin. It did have a mild scent (possibly from the cacao).
