the color is not too bright/neon -- works well for medium skin. looks like a red that has slight orange TASTE SO BAD!! i suggest you leave this on your lip for 5-10 min before talking so you don't actually eat this (it gets into your mouth easily) I like this better than regular ink velvet because it feels so soft afterwards. Though, similar to the ink velvet, it doesn't moisturize your lips
